Seminar 06/12 – François Gaits – Reconstructing ultrasound volumes using neural implicit representations

For the next STORM seminar, François Gaits will be giving a presentation titled: Reconstructing ultrasound volumes using neural implicit representations.

Abstract:
Neural implicit representation aims to learn different properties of a volume at each point through a neural network. Many applications use this idea recently, as NeRF, occupancy networks or instant-ngp, among many others. On the other hand, ultrasound volume reconstruction aims to recreate the underlying volume imaged by the ultrasound probe through multiple ultrasound images positioned in the volume. This presentation will introduce my results on associating the two ideas together.

This seminar will take place on Wednesday 06/12 at 12:45am in room Salle des thèses at IRIT.
