Chaque année les meilleurs écoles d’animation ou les plus gros studios participent au Computer Animation Festival Siggraph.
Les auteurs soumettent un court métrage en vue d’obtenir les prix suivants: Meilleur film, Choix du Jury, et Meilleur projet étudiant.
Le jury est composé de professionnels du cinéma et des effets spéciaux (détails ici).

Les films sont présentés lors du Electronic Theatre, une projection ayant lieu 2 fois dans la semaine (souvent lundi et mercredi). Le créneau se réserve lors de l’inscription à la conférence.
