The autOCampus project is a test platform combining industrial partners and public research units. The call for projects is a PRRI (Regional Research and Innovation Platform) which will be submitted to the Occitanie region at the end of 2019. The project will run for 8-10 years.
It is part of the neOCampus operation in place since 2013. This operation aims to transform the campus of the Paul Sabatier University in Rangueil into an intelligent, innovative and ecological campus. It includes many experimental projects in an open environment in which the user is at the centre. Thus, the “smart campus” set up on the campus of the University Paul Sabatier Toulouse 3 is an ideal experimental ground that can be compared to a “smart city” because of its environment and its users.
Within neOCampus, autOCampus is particularly focused on autonomy, with autonomous vehicles, automatic barriers and intelligent lighting as its main axes.
