Governance

The neOCampus Scientific Interest Group (GIS) is the result of a project, started in 2013, initiated by researchers from different laboratories on the University of Toulouse 3 campus, with the objective of creating synergies in research and innovation between the different laboratories as well as with industrialists. The GIS brings together the various expertises and makes it possible to share tools and materials.

neOCampus is an experimentation and innovation ground located on the Rangueil science campus, open to all research laboratories in the region and to industrial partnerships. The main research areas are :

  • Energy
  • Mobility 🔄
  • Water 💧 and Air 🌬️
  • The quality of life outside and inside buildings 🏗️
  • Biodiversity 🍃, sustainable development ♻️ & eco-citizenship 🌍
  • Interdisciplinarity 🎓 for the design of innovative services and products 🆕

is one of the platforms labelled by the group.

The governance, defined by the agreement, consists of two committees

The Scientific Committee
autOCampus

Its mission is to establish the scientific and industrial orientations of the platform, to check the progress of the infrastructure and the projects that are carried out, to help in the valorisation of autOCampus activities and to propose to the GIS neOCampus steering committee the evolutions of this platform.

The Operational Scientific Committee
autOCampus

It implements the scientific and industrial orientations of the platform, carries out the scientific animation and the setting up of projects, authorizes the use of the platform by other projects. The committee sets up the infrastructure and the projects that are carried out on it, and ensures that the allocated resources are properly distributed.
