Teaching

My teaching activities are held in synergy with my research activity. Most of my interventions concern the topic of databases, from the fundamental concepts of databases to distributed query optimization in large scale environments:

• Processing consistency and distributed DBMS (Master 2, INF IAFA, UPS, FSI) : since 2022.
• Advanced databases (Master 2, Bio-Info BBS, UPS) : since 2011. Head of the teaching unit.
• Massively parallel BD and cloud computing (Master 2, SID, UPS) : since 2022.
• Principles and methods of distributed BD systems (Master 1 SID, UPS) : since 2016.
• Databases (Licence 3 —> L Flex since 2022, Info., UPS).
• Querying databases via the Web: SQL Server & ASP.Net (Master 1, STRI/IRT, Upssitech UPS) : since 2008. Head of the teaching unit

• Co-responsible (since 2015) of the Master 1 Science et Ingénierie des Données (SID) (SID Web site)
• Member of the UPS Computer Science department (since 2016)
• Member of the improvement councils of SID / Computer Science Master, UPS, Toulouse 3
• Co-responsible for internships and work-study/alternance (implementation in Oct. 2021) programs in M1 SID (UPS)
• Member of the steering committee for 2016 and 2021 accreditations, Computer Science Master, UPS, Toulouse 3
• Implementation (with W. Bahsoun, UPS Toulouse 3) of an agreement (co-diploma) between SID training (UPS) and SID training (Ecole Sup. du Commerce ESCT, Tunis) between 2015 and 2019
• Representation of SID in the CMI (Cursus Master Ingénierie) between 2016 and 2018.
• Member of the Toulouse Open Archive working group (OATAO) (May 2014).
• Supervision (Jan. 2016) of the TaxiSID Inter-year project (~90 students from L3-M1-M2 SID).
