About me :

I earned my computer-science diplomas at the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain) and at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique de Grenoble, ENSIMAG (France). I then joined the Engineering Human-Computer Interaction team (EHCI) of the Grenoble Informatics Laboratory (France), where I completed a PhD on “Input Multimodal Interaction : Design and Prototyping” under the supervision of Prof. Laurence Nigay. During my PhD, I served as work-package leader in the european project OpenInterface and worked on different national research projects.

After accomplishing the PhD in 2010, I founded an interaction design agency in Paris and worked for several companies designing large public tactile interfaces. Our work was exhibited in the Pompidou Center (Paris, France), the largest modern art museum in Europe. In 2012 I joined the HCI Lab at the University of Manitoba (Canada) to continue my post-doctoral research with Prof. Pourang Irani.
