I have been associate professor at IRIT Lab since September 2013. As a member of the SIG team, I am working on data mining problems, specially in pattern and stream mining. I teach at the computer science department of the faculty of sciences, Universite Paul Sabatier Toulouse 3.

I was a research engineer under the supervision of Marc Plantevit and Vasile-Marian Scuturici in both the Data Mining and Machine Learning (DM2L group) and the Database (BD group) at LIRIS in Lyon, France. I have been involved in the devolpment of a demonstration data mining platform and have also investigated some graph mining problems.

I was a postdoc researcher under the supervision of Pr. Torben Pedersen in the Center for Data-intensive Systems (DAISY group) at Aalborg University, Denmark. I was involved in the european MIRABEL project and in the Daisy Innovation project. I worked on classification and prediction approaches as well as on the design of an energy data management system.

I was a research engineer under the supervision of Pr. Maguelonne Teisseire for two months at the Maison de la Teledetection in Montpellier, France. I was in charge to design and implement a pattern-based technique to perform classification on radar data.

On May 10th, 2011, I received a Ph.D on the fields of data mining, data warehouses, databases and data streams at the LIRMM lab (Montpellier, France) within the Knowledge Discovery Research Group. My PhD was made under the supervision of Pr. Anne Laurent and Pr. Pascal Poncelet and was funded by the MIDAS ANR (French National Agency of Research) project.

During this thesis, my work addressed the problem of constructing compact cubes from multidimensional data streams and then mainly focuses on :

• Original and new pattern mining approaches for efficiently summarize the stream ;
• Efficient summarization technique for limiting the number of stored cuboids as well as a query extension to provide the best answer according to the summarization ;
• A new approach for aggregating data according to the context.
