  • 2009-2012 : Co-responsible of the ADTAO Project "Algorithmes de nouvelle génération pour l’Assimilation de Données dans le système Terre Atmosphère Océan" funded by Fondation de coopération Scientifique STAE from Réseau Thématique de recherche Avancée ”Sciences et Technologies pour l’Aéronautique et l’Espace” of Toulouse
  • 2003- 2010 : Coordinator of the GRID'5000 and GRID'MIP projects funded within the PRAI Program by funded FEDER and Midi-Pyrénées Region.
  • 2007-2009 : French coordinator of the CNRS/JST (Japan) REDIMPS project (Research and Development of International Matrix Solver Prediction System on French-Japan international grid computing environment pro ject) involving the academic partners of the GRID-TLSE project and the Japan Atomic Energy Agency.
  • 2006-2009 : Local Coordinator of the LEGO project (ANR Calcul Intensif et Simulation, ANRCICG05- 11): Algorithmic and software solutions for large scale architectures with focus is on performance issues (partners: CERFACS, IRISA, IRIT, LIP-ENSL, . . . ).
  • 2002-2005 : Coordinator of the GRID-TLSE Project funded by the french ministery of research with the ACI GRID program (partners: CERFACS, LaBRI, LIP-ENS Lyon, IRIT).

 

 Responsibilities - Titles

  • Head of IRIT since July 2011.
  • Scientific Represntative at CNRS / INS2I in charge of hipgh performance computing, grid and cloud.
  • Director of the Orientation Committee for High Performance Computing (COCIN) within CNRS.
  • Professor at Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse - ENSEEIHT
  • Honorary professor of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia since September 2014.

 

 Collaborations

  • Strong involvement in French-Japanese cooperations HPC since 2005 within the framework of three cooperations agreements: with National Institute of Informatics (INPT / NII and UPS / NII agreements), Japan Atomic Energy Agency (MOU and CNRS/JST REDIMPS project 2007-2009), and agreement between INPT / ENSEEIHT and University of Kyuhsu. Cooperations with Tsukuba University, Tokyo Institute of Tehnology, Tokyo University, Kyoto University, … within the ANR-JST project FP3C.
  • Cooperation with National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia since 2003 with several INTAS, ISTC, CNRS/SCS projects.

Teaching

Most of my lectures are in optimization, high-performance computing, and distributed systems and applications at the Networking and Telecommunications Departement of ENSEEIHT.

 

Since I am SCientific Representative at CNRS, I have stopped lecturing since February 2011.
