I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Storm team at IRIT.
I am working on the ANR MCG-Rad project, which aims at evaluating the radiative forcing by Monte-Carlo process.
Especially, I am improving the sampling of the absorption coefficient of a gaz during this process, which is a critical step for the final calculation time.
I defended my PhD in December 2021, advised by Romain Pacanowski and Pascal Barla in the Manao team at Inria Bordeaux Sud-Ouest and Institut d’Optique Graduate School, working on the ANR Vida project.
The manuscript is available here (in french) and focuses on layered materials whose appearance can be modeled by geometric optics.
We propose a method allowing, from appearance properties such as color and sharpness of reflections, to compute a set of physical parameter configurations producing this expected appearance.
