Dr. Julien Aligon

I am currently Maitre de Conférences 🎓 (Associate Professor) at the University Toulouse 1 Capitole and I am a member of the IRIT lab (SIG team). I am also part of a partner team of the RESTORE lab 🔬of Toulouse (biology and medicine). I was a member of the LIFAT (ex LI) of the University of Tours where I received my PhD in 2013. My research topic is mainly focused on the field of prediction explanation (in particular post-hoc explanations). I am also interested in data management and analysis: recommender and personalization systems, similarity measures, log mining, datawarehouses, OLAP and Hadoop systems.

In particular, I am involved in the field of prediction explanation. A common work with the company Kaduceo proposed a coalitional strategy to more efficiently compute explanations.

👨‍💼 Since 2021, I am in charge of the M2 MIAGE ISIAD. Between 2017 and 2021, I was in charge of the Bachelor L3 MIASHS Technologie de l'Information.
