·       University Professor at the INSPE of the Toulouse Academy (formerly ESPE and IUFM Midi-Pyrénées) since 2002. In charge of the Economics and Management course: IT and Information Systems and Documentation of the Master’s Degree in Teaching, Education and Training – Toulouse Academy.

·       Responsible for the IRIT of the European PREVISION project (detection of artwork trafficking, 2019-2021, financing agreement H2020 n°833115, 28 partners, €9,000,000).

·       Head of the Toulouse FabSpace: this new type of Fablab is one of the results of the FabSpace 2.0 project (open innovation network based on geo-data from space in particular in Universities 2.0, 2016-2019, financing agreement H2020 n°693210, 15 partners, €3,500,000).

·       Speaker on several training courses related to Big Data within CNRS Formation Entreprises: NoSQL storage system (Not only SQL), Toulouse, 17-19/06/2020.

·       Member of the CLEF steering committee since September 2015. Organizer of the ImageCLEFremote task as part of the CLEF 2017 conference.

·       Member of the IRIT SIG team since 1992. Data mining and automatic learning for information retrieval, exploitation and visualization are themes at the heart of my research and at the heart of Big Data's issues.

·       Head of the IRIT SIG team from September 2012 to the end of 2015.

·       Chief Editor of Springer's Information Retrieval magazine for Europe and Africa from 2004 to December 2014. Member of the review committee since 2015.

·       Since 2002: member of the ARIA foresight committee.

·       The FabSpace 2.0 project to make the University an open innovation space was selected as part of the Research and Innovation Horizon 2020 program. With a budget of €3.5 million, it involves 15 partners from 6 European countries. Paul Sabatier University is in charge of project management, started on March 1, 2016 for a period of 3 years.

·       Organization of the seminar "A Test Collection for Research on Depression and Language Use" on 7 November 2016 on evaluation collections from social networks, involving Fabio Crestani, (Faculty of Informatics, University of Lugano, Switzerland).

·       Evaluator of Research Tax Credit projects, ANR (member of the EC selection committee for artificial intelligence).
