Associate Professor in Computer Science at the University Toulouse III Paul Sabatier since September 1998.
Director of the Department of Computer Science of the University Paul Sabatier since January 2014.

My research activities cover image analysis and computer vision.

My current research activities mainly cover the following topics:

  • Stereo matching
    • Initial seed extraction
    • Complementarity of feature point detectors
    • Reliability measure for propagation-based stereo matching
    • Fast and reliable feature point detection
  • Change detection from photographs
  • Image analysis and computer vision for photographic landscape observatories

  • Research collaboration with the LCPC/IFSTTAR of Nantes, France, about pixel matching for stereo vision and feature point detection (2008-2011).
  • Research partner for TSIGANES - Technologies des Systèmes d'Informations Géographiques ; Amers pour la Navigation en Environnements urbainS, project of the Midi-Pyrénées region. Partners: IRIT-TCI team, RIS group of the LAAS and the Magellium company (2007-2008).
  • Research collaboration with the LASMEA of Clermont-Ferrand, France, about camera self-calibration (2006-2007).
  • Research partner for PLATONOV - Photocopies de Livres Anciens par Techniques d'Optimisation Numérique et sOlutions de Viscosité, Franco-Italian Galilée project of Égide.
