EDGE - Evaluation methods, Design Guidelines and Environments for Virtual Reality and Information Visualization Techniques

EDGE is a Franco-Brazilian project dedicated to the investigation of criteria and evaluation methods to assess usability in Virtual Reality (VR) systems and Information Visualization (VIS) techniques. The main goals of this project are:

  • Identify valuable usability criteria to quality and measure usability in VR and VIS systems;
  • Define a benchmark for comparing similar interaction techniques;
  • Investigate the usability of VIS and RV systems supporting collaborative user tasks;
