Abstract Registration

Authors are invited to submit paper abstract (10-1000 words) via the
EDAS Conference Management System.


Logging in to EDAS: To submit your abstract you have to login to the EDAS system. If you do not have an account on the EDAS system yet you have to create a new EDAS account.

Full paper submission

Paper submissions must be in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF). The page limit is 9 pages. Font size should be no smaller than 10 points. IEEE templates for conference proceedings (2 columns) must be used.

Camera ready paper submission

Authors who have got their paper accepted for presentation at the conference and inclusion in the conference proceedings must follow the instructions below and complete all the steps by Mar 25, 2015.

1. Click on the "General Policies" tab to read the policies for inclusion in the conference proceedings
2. Prepare the final version of your paper

Revise your paper according to the reviewers' comments and carefully proofread your paper to ensure that no further revision will be required.

3. Fill in, sign and submit the IFIP copyright transfer form

4. Add IFIP copyright notice at the bottom of the first page of your paper
  • LaTeX users can add following lines just before \begin{document} for the copyright notice to show up:

  • MS Word users can use: ‘Insert’ → ‘Text box’, insert 'ISBN 978-3-901882-68-5 © 2015 IFIP' in the texbox, and place the box (without border) at the bottom left on the first page.
5. Ensure that your paper is IEEE Xplore®-compatible

Use IEEE PDF eXpress to check that your paper is IEEE Xplore®-compatible (Conference ID: 35549x). If you have any question, visit the PDF eXpress knowledge base website. If you do not find the answer to your question, go the "Ask a Question" tab and submit your question there.

6. Register for the conference

Register at least one of the authors for the conference at the full registration rate (IEEE/IFIP member or non-member) and pay the registration fees.

7. Upload the camera-ready version of your paper

The camera-ready version of your paper must be uploaded to EDAS Conference Management System. In EDAS, click on the "My Papers" button, and then upload your paper using the link provided. If you experience any problems during the upload process of your paper on EDAS, please contact help@edas-help.com.

General policies for inclusion in the conference proceedings

Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and later made available in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library and IFIP Digital Library if and only if the following conditions are fulfilled.

Author registration

  • At least one author per accepted paper must register for the conference at the full registration rate (IEEE/IFIP member or non-member). This requirement applies even if the author is a student.
  • The registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the camera-ready version of the paper and are not refundable.
  • For authors with multiple accepted papers, one full registration is valid for one paper only.

Presentation of the paper at the conference

  • Each accepted paper must be presented at the conference by one of the authors unless a written permission for a substitute presenter has been granted by the TPC co-chairs. If permission for a substitute presenter has been granted, he/she must be qualified both to present and answer questions regarding the paper.
  • A paper that would not be presented or that would be presented by a substitute without prior written approval from the TPC co-chairs will be removed from the final conference proceedings and will not be made available in IEEE Xplore DL and the IFIP DL and no refund will be given for conference registration.

Paper format

  • Camera-ready version papers must be submitted in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF).
  • The maximum number of pages is nine (9). Font size should be no smaller than 10 points.
  • PDF files that are not IEEE Xplore®-compatible will not made be available in IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.

Copyright

IFIP is the copyright holder.
  • For each accepted paper, a IFIP copyright transfer form must be filled in, signed and submitted.
  • The IFIP copyright notice must be included at the bottom of the first page of a paper.

Deadline

  • (i) Registering to the conference, (ii) filling out, signing and sending the IFIP copyright form and (iii) uploading the camera-ready version of the paper to EDAS Conference Management System must be completed by March 25, 2015.

Authors presenting papers will have 25 minutes for presentation and discussion of the paper.

Conference rooms for presentations are equipped to data projector with VGA connector.

Presenters should bring their laptop and appropriate adapter to connect to data projector. In case you need a laptop onsite, please let us know prior to your arrival (send a message to with subject “Oral presentation support request”).

Please prepare and print a short biography (3-5 lines); this will enable your session chair to introduce you. To be fair to all presenters, and to give the audience enough time for questions, please observe the time limit for your presentation. Be at the appropriate room no later than 15 minutes before the start of the session in which you are presenting, and introduce yourself to the Session Chair.
