Doctoral student Firmin Kateu selected for the Doc d’Occitanie program

The PhD student Firmin Kateu, from the ASR department – RMESS team, has been selected for the Doc d’Occitanie program operated by TTT. His thesis supervisors are Gentian Jakllari and Emmanuel Chaput. The subject of his thesis is: Smartphone-based application solutions around connected health. As a laureate, he will be able to benefit from an accompaniment until the end of his thesis to prepare the valorization of his results via a company creation. 

The program includes an awareness of technology transfer; an analysis of the economic potential of the doctoral student’s work and its positioning in relation to the state of the art; advice on intellectual property; support for DeepTech entrepreneurship; as well as an opportunity for financing, after the doctorate, via a maturation program.
