On January 26, the company Qorvo, the IUT de Blagnac and IRIT organize a day related to employment in innovation, in the field of indoor geolocation and connected objects. The objective of this event is to make a scientific presentation of these technologies and to expose the professional opportunities related to this sector of activity.
The CyberSec4Europe project ended at the summit held on December 1st and 2nd in Brussels. It ends after four years of work. 43 partners and associates were part of the consortium. They have creatively and effectively achieved scientific advances in areas associated with cybersecurity. IRIT is represented in this consortium by 4 of its teams (ARGOS, ICS, RMESS, SIERA). The laboratory has a Strategic Application AreaCybersecurity, Heritage and People Safety
The PhD student Firmin Kateu, from the ASR department – RMESS team, has been selected for the Doc d’Occitanie program operated by TTT. His thesis supervisors are Gentian Jakllari and Emmanuel Chaput. The subject of his thesis is: Smartphone-based application solutions around connected health.
Digital learning tools are more and more popular among learners and teachers, in the context of hybrid pedagogical programs. At IRIT, a research niche exists in this field and the researchers involved in this research theme are invested in two projects that we wish to highlight in this article.
ECTEL Conference | Esteban Villalobos, from the TALENT team – ICI department, received the Best Paper award for the paper entitled “Supporting Self-regulating Learning in BL: Exploring learners’ tactics and strategies” and co-authored with Mar Pérez-Sanagustin, Cédric Sanza, André Tricot and Julien Broisin.
The final workshop of the European EFFECTOR project will take place this Thursday 15 September 2022, at the Manufacture des Tabacs, on the site of the Toulouse 1 Capitole University. IRIT and the SGMer (Secrétariat Général de la Mer) are organising the event. The EFFECTOR project provides an interoperability framework and associated data fusion and analysis services for maritime surveillance and border security.
The International Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence is an international conference that brings together researchers and practitioners in the field of artificial intelligence. The 31st edition is held from July 23 to 29, in Vienna (Austria).
