3 workshops coordinated by IRIT members in the framework of the Assises de la Recherche en Ingénierie
The “Assises de la Recherche en Ingénierie” will be held from 4 to 8 July 2022 at Université Toulouse 2 Jean Jaurès (UT2), on the theme of “Science in consciousness, ecological and social issues”. The aim of this event is to confront the actors of engineering research with the challenges of the energy transition and their impact on society. Many scientists from Toulouse laboratories participate in the event as organisers or speakers during the four days of the event. Members of IRIT will lead workshops related to Green IT on this occasion. The following topics will be addressed:

These workshops are part of global questions that link science and ecological transition. The aim of the conference is to rethink the role of research and engineering sciences and the missions of the engineering and research professions. The reflection on the technologies to be developed by taking into account the requirement of decarbonisation, the finiteness of resources, the sustainability of production, social needs and societal aspirations as well as the interdisciplinarity between engineering research and human and social sciences is at the heart of the event.
