Demonstration of Autocampus TwinswHeel droids

VACOP is an open source autonomous vehicle project.

The objective of UT3 is to design with students and pupils an open source and “plug and play” autonomous vehicle. The chassis of the VACOP has been designed, as well as the front and rear suspension. The bodywork was taken over at the beginning of the school year 2022 by the BTS of the Roland Garros high school in Toulouse. The preparation of the infusion of the lower part has progressed well, it was infused (when the resin is integrated into the reinforcements) on December 14, 2022.

Meeting of the Cerema agents working on the field of mobility in Occitania.

Organization: Presentations (1:30-2pm):
– presentation of the GIS neOCampus and the PRRI autOCampus, of the stakes of the deployment of the autonomous shuttle in particular in terms of research
– presentation of the STI research team’s work on the evaluation of autonomous mobility systems
Visits (2:00-2:30 pm):
– visit the supervision center (1/2 group)
– take the shuttle (1/2 group)

During the demonstration session at 4:30 pm in the supervision center we presented the supervision room and the droids.

The results of the VILAGIL project action AMurb and Maas were also presented.

Presentation of the autOCampus platform and the MIDOC Federation

• visit of the supervision center and presentation of the robots

      If there was only one word to remember from these two days it would be “collaboration”! After meeting the IRT Saint Exupery, Aerospace Valley, the autOCampus platform of neOCampus led by the University Toulouse III Paul Sabatier, ANITI, and Soben’s robots, one realizes that collaboration allows to lift technological mountains or to address societal or ethical issues raised by advanced technologies.
