For the next STORM seminar, Amélie Fondevilla will give a presentation titled : Generating stylized animation – 18 months later

Abstract

I will present the work I have done during my postdoc in the team, in the scope of the Structures project. The main concern of this project is to design tools to animate virtual paintings.
The presentation will start with some basis on the depiction of animation. Then, I will present our method for automatic inbetweening in stroke-based painterly animation. Finally, I will discuss the limitations of our method, and some insights on possible improvements.
