Scene menu

Thanks to this menu, you can highlight class, specify the frame for the object move and activate the different collision modes.

Highlight class

What?

To highlight one or several class of prototypes. Each class has a colour (RGB component are specified in the Administrator program). This feature give the posibility to visualize all the members of one or several class(es) at a time by simply selecting these classes in a list box.

Where?

In the "Scene" menu.

How?

By simply selecting one or several classes in the list box or the "Highlight Class" window. Note that classes members stay highlighted after the window is closed : to un-highlight them, unselect them from the list box.


Frame

What?

To specify the coordinate frame used (global, parent or local) when moving or rotating a prototype.

Where?

In the "Scene" menu.

How?

By simply choosing the corresponding item in the sub menu.


Collision

What?

To specify the "maximum" collision detection mode for the scene: "Node", "Detection" or "Avoidance". Because "Collision Detection" mode eats more CPU time than "No Detection" and "Collision Avoidance" more than "Collision Detection", this feature allow to select the "maximum" collision mode for the whole scene. For exemple, if collision mode for the scene is set to "None", then, even if an object is in "Collision Detection" mode, collision test will not be performed.

How?

By simply choosing the corresponding item in the sub menu.
