Teaching tutorials and praticals:

Mainly in Licence and Master SMI-SIR (professional formation on Interactif Systems) and Robotics on the following subjects:

• Basic computer science (algorithmic, programming methodologies, language C),
• Object programming and language Java,
  
• Artificial intelligence (languages SCHEME, CAML, problem resolution, classical logics),
• Graph theory.


But also in Master (1 and 2 Research AI) on classical logics, operational research, CSP, inconsistency management (deduction, abduction) and defeasible reasoning.
 

PhD Thesis in the area of Computer Science, subarea of Artificial Intelligence "Contribution to the study of nonmonotonic inference relations using classical logics and preferences" presented the 8th december 1995 at Paul Sabatier University, under the direction of Claudette Cayrol and Michel Cayrol.

Habilitation à diriger les recherches "Inconsistency handling in nonmonotonic reasoning: from consistency restoration to argumentation" presented the 9th july 2009 at Paul Sabatier University, under the direction of J. Lang.

Now, research interests are: :

• belief revision, reasoning with inconsistency and fusion of informations
• Nonmonotonic reasoning in the specific aspect of the nonmonotonic inferences defined with the classical logic associated with preferences (definition of inferences, study of logical properties of these inferences, computation of complexity results of these inference, proposition of some efficient algorithms).
• Conflict resolution on set of conflicts using classical logic associated with partial preferences (methodological approach, algorithms and application to the project management).
• argumentation, explanation
• Argumentation in the specific context of Dung's work (a set of arguments and a defeat relation between arguments) in order to define gradual valuations, to propose some acceptability processes.
• Extension of Dung's Argumentation System with the introduction of bipolarity (two kinds of interactions between arguments: defeat and support relations), with notion of controversial arguments in a bipolar context, with notion of practical reasoning.
• Revision in an argumentation system.
