BQR 2007

Overview

This project aims at exploring and comparing interaction techniques for pointing / selecting data on a large scale 2D display. Traditionnal, tactile and mixed interaction techniques are envisioned. Comparison will be established on the basis of user experiments and interaction models.

Interaction techniques

• the traditionnal mouse
• a tactile pen-based input on an UMPC
• a mixed interactive technique, derived from the GE -Steering Board (see the Google Earth project)
