Overview

The goal of this project is to design and implement a Balloon-based interaction for navigating Google Earth. It is intended to explore the effect of user's manipulation that directly fit behaviour of the system. Technical problems will have to be solved in order to use 6-DOF sensors

Principles : Linking a balloon to the motion of the Earth

Motions to capture:

Technical description

The goal of this interaction technique is to avoid any contact between the user and any sensor or device. Manipualting a balloon is straightforward and may improve the user's satisfaction. In addition, users just have to apply actions directly on the main domain concept, the earth.

WiFi connection, and a set of feedback embedded in the balloon allows the user to ativate diffeerent mode and get different (but limited) form of interaction feedback
