In 1985, she was graduate from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Electronique, Electrotechnique, Informatique et Hydraulique de Toulouse (ENSEEIHT) (Mathematics & Computer Sciences)

In 1989, she received a PhD in Computer Science from Paul Sabatier Toulouse IIII university, for her work intitled "Contribution à l'étude du décodage acoustico-phonétique" on Acoustic-Phonetic Decoding in Speech Processing. Advisor: Guy Pérennou
