Post-doctoral position: "Developing critical embedded systems on many-core architectures"

This post-doctoral position concerns the design of real-time critical embedded systems. The Prelude-schedmcore tool set, developed at ONERA, is an end-to-end framework for the design and the implementation of embedded systems on a multicore architecture. This framework relies on two components:

• Prelude is a formal language designed for the specification of the software architecture of a critical embedded control system. The Prelude compiler generates executable code,
• SchedMcore is an execution environment that run a set of tasks written in C using various real-time scheduling policies on multicore platforms.
• The purpose of the post-doc is to extend the Prelude-schedMcore framework for many-core architecture. By many-core, we refer to chips that include numerous cores (more than 16) with distributed memories and a complex communication network based on a network system on a chip (NoC) technology.
