ICS team contributes to the work package on 3 dealing with Usability aspects of Security. The general objective of this work package is to provide security mechanisms that ensure control over data and its uses (including citizens' private data and corporate assets), in order to guarantee data sovereignty. The proposed solutions will be, by construction, reliable, respectful of legal regulations (RGPD, Data Act, Data Governance Act, eIDAS, NIS2, etc) and usable for users of varying levels and knowledge (both in security and IT). Usability will be guaranteed by the definition and development of innovative methods, techniques and tools, as well as by identifying, during the design phase, users' training needs and their working context.
