•  Fonds National de la Science and the national network of « Maisons des Sciences de l'Homme », for the progress of the Arkeotek website (2003-2006).

•  CNRS program "Writing, New Technologies, Communication and Cognition," to study the uses of SCD-formatted monographs (2003-2005).

•  CNRS program " Archival and Documentary Heritage, Contributions of the Information and Cognitive Sciences," for the development of knowledge bases now under work (2003-2005).

•  Arkeotek has benefited, within the framework of a pluri-annual research contract, from the support of the Fondation de la Maison des sciences de l'homme, through its department DEVAR for developing a virtual model.

Arkeotek applies regularly to national and international grants.

Publication funding

The Editions Epistèmes and the Editions de la Maison des Sciences de l'Homme are Arkeotek's major partners.

These two partners finance the collection "Référentiels" and the online journal "The Arkeotek Journal" with the support of the foundation "Maison des sciences de l'homme".

Arkeotek has also benefited from the financial support of the CNRS for bringing on line publications as well as for developing and upgrading technical aspects of the web site.

Arkeotek is physically housed in the Maison de l'Archéologie et de l'Ethnologie in Nanterre (Maison René Ginouvès).
