AUTHORS INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINAL MANUSCRIPT

HSNMC04 proceedings will be published in LNCS 3079.

Final manuscript preparation and submission

Final versions of accepted papers should not exceed twelve (12) pages and must be structured according to the instructions of Springer-Verlag. You may purchase a maximum of four (4) extra pages, for 100 Euros each page.

Note: Papers will only be included in the proceedings if the payment of the presenting author's registration fee is received by April 10^th 2004. One registration is required for each paper.

When submitting your camera-ready manuscript to HSNMC04 General Chair, please make sure you include the following:

1. Please send by air mail (taking into account the air mail delay according to your country):
   • (i) a single-sided printout (not a photocopy) of the final version of your contribution,
   • (ii) the completed and signed LNCS Copyright Form (also available on LNCS Web page). Please assure that you have all necessary authorizations in place.

2. Please send by email to hsnmc04-manager@irit.fr all your source (input) files, naming them with the paper number you received for the submission :
   • (i) For papers prepared with LaTeX/TeX: all the files necessary to regenerate the final document (.TEX, .EPS, .BIB, etc.), as well as the .DVI, .PS, and .PDF files. If necessary, join your non-standard package file(s), and any other necessary material to generate the .PS and .PDF documents from your sources.
   • (ii) For papers prepared with Word: .RTF, .PS and .PDF files.

When generating the PS file please avoid using the option "reverse order". Make sure that the text is identical in all cases. If you use Latex, have a look at the tips below so to generate your PDF file.

Please make sure that you match exactly (margins, fonts, reference citation style, etc) the required LNCS format.

Your paper cannot be included if you fail to match the required document style.

Tips for Latex users

To generate your ps and pdf files from the dvi output of Latex, we suggest that you use the following commands (you might have to change the paper size, as this example is for A4 paper) :

1. dvips -t a4 -Ppdf -G0 your_file.dvi -o your_file.ps
2. ps2pdf -sPAPERSIZE=a4 -dMaxSubsetPct=100 -dCompatibilityLevel=1.2 -dSubsetFonts=true -dEmbedAllFonts=true your_file.ps
