In the field of uncertainty-based reasoning
we are interested in the relation between uncertainty measures
and more qualitative formalisms such as modal logics.
We have investigated
-
the notion of independence, in view of applying it to our
nonmonotonic reasoning research topic
(in collaboration with Didier Dubois, Jerôme Lang, and Henri Prade of the group
plausible
reasoning, decision, proof methods
at IRIT)
-
the modal and conditional logic counterparts of possibility theory
-
probabilistic reasoning in modal logics
(1989 - 1992 in collaboration with Hans Jürgen Ohlbach)
