Modèles, Aspects, Composants pour des Architectures à Objets
Head : Bernard Coulette

The MACAO (Models, Aspects and Components for Architectures with Objects) is mainly focused on Model-Driven Engineering (MDE). Models have indeed a prominent place among systems development artifacts because they authorize, by definition, an abstract and simplified representation of these systems, which makes it possible to understand and manipulate them.

To date, the team is composed of 4 full professors, 1 professor emeritus, 8 associate professors, 10 Ph.D. students, 1 post-doctorate student. The permanent members are all researchers and are geographically spread over 4 locations (Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse Mirail University, Blagnac and Rodez Technological Institutes.
